Antidote New Collection : Moschino

So about the Antidote collection....Hmmm...Antidote has a very specific aesthetic, and this collection is just not there. The whole thing screams LE to me. Sparkles, gold and chains, it's the same Stardoll recipe over and over again. Worst piece of all? The "Sequin Sports Trousers" with the underwear showing off. Best part was the interior, but not when you are on a tight budget. Of course there is a lot of talent around Stardoll and it's no surprise that some medolls managed to make outstanding outfits with these pieces.

Featured Suite : suheily90

suheily90 is a well know and talented wig designer. But today I won't write about that, but for her suite (but while you are there make sure to ckeck her designs as well). She has a great eye for decoration and the results are stunning. Realistic, modern rooms with her personal touch. I especially love the first one which is inspired by a real life building as she wrote on her instagram : "Falling Water Landmark inspired room. This is one of my favorite Frank Lloyd Wright organic architecgure masterpieces.". Enjoy!

LE New Collection

The new LE collection is here. There is one notable thing about this collection, it's not grunge/90's style like we were promised. It feels more like a wild west/bohemian style.



I was away when it got released so I missed the two items I liked, the "Electra Fringe Shawl" and the "LE Chiffon Vest". However I still got some things, only accessories though. I got the "Diamond Rivets Hat" and the "Chain Dallas Hat". They are not something special, but I bought them eitherway for my hat collection..
I also bought two pair of shoes, the "Celine Wedges" and the "Sherriff Snake Wedges". At first look I didn't like them but I have saved some stardollars for LE, which I wanted to spend. So I got them through Stardoll Access after many hours and with without thinking about it too much, just for the sake of it. I can honestly say that I don't regret it at all. I'm in love with the "Celine Wedges", they are beautiful and unique with the quirky heel! I wore them right away, and I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear from the other pair too.

Straight Up : Featured Hair Designers

Almost a week after the release of Curlfriend, we got one more hair set. This time it was for straight hair and it's called Straight Up. These pieces can be used to create a great selection of wigs and I find them to be a lot more easier to work with! Unfortunately there is a glitch that in some cases ruins the final creation and it has discouraged many people from trying out the new pieces...However I still have spotted some amazing creations around the Stardoll world. Curlfriend : Featured Hair Designers

Since the new stardesign hair pieces were released a couple of days ago, I've been peeking into beauty parlors all around Stardoll and I have spotted some amazing creations! It seems that the curlfriend hair set is a very helpful tool and has sparked the creativity of the designers. In the picture below you can see only some of my favourite that I've came accross so far, from the voluminous curls to the blonde mane or the short cut!

Featured Doll : Etana

Etana is a pretty well known member of the Stardoll community. However I just discovered her and I was blown away by her creations. Take a closer look at her dress ups and you'll see that they are one of a kind outfits created by a combination of suite items and clothes! I had a really hard time choosing which looks to feature here, because every single one is stunning! You can see her outfits in her photos here. I warn you there are a lot of photos, her creativity seems to be endless!

Featured Doll : jacklynjaman_

I found jacklynjaman_ through her instagram account and I was immediately impressed with her natural and beautiful face but also with her minimal and modern suite. The wooden floors and the little details, like a cup of coffee, an open book, a vase with fresh flowers, make the rooms very cozy. The color palette of black, white and gray is very modern,everything seems to work together and it gives the impression of a quite and relaxing place you can spend hours looking the view through the windows or laying in the bed with a good book. Featured Designer : Dawniela

I am crazy for hats! Berets, caps, wide brim hats, any sort of hat makes me happy! So when I visited Dawniela a couple of weeks ago, I was very excited with her designs. She makes cartoony hats, which is the most brilliant and original idea! Her desings are very detailed, with great shadings and I like how they clash with the three dimensional and realistic doll. They kind of remind me the "Jump from Paper" bags (you can see them here) which are flat but look like they are 3D...

Anyway, back to Stardoll, the price for the designs range from 69 to 79 stardollars and you can find them in her Starbazaar which is always restocked.

I have featured dissolvedgirl before as a fashion designer (read the post here). Today I visited her and discovered the amazing hair designs she creates. Her wigs are very realistic and original and of course extremely well designed. They cost around 80 stardollars.

Now I'm gonna stop writing unnecessary words and let you admire her work.

Featured Suite : midnatts_ros

Every room in suite of midnatts_ros  's suiute has a different theme. She even makes separate outfits for each one to match the decor. Some of her rooms iclude a 60's living room, a train cabin, a very modern bedroom (with her medoll dressed in pjs!), a sewing room, a hair salon and many more. Every room is a surprise! Below it's just a sample of her creativeness.

Beauty : Natural Face

I always admired those dolls that managed to achieve a realistic face. And by that I mean dolls that look like real women, not the barbie dolls with the perfect features.

I have poor make up skills, I barely change my medoll, and I have yet to learn the art of face shadings, so I'm always impressed with what people can create with these tools.

Recently, I have spotted two dolls with this look, millaxx and Natali_226. The shadings are on the right places and the make up is just the right amount .

Featured Suite : kianagf

I was voting on the Vote today when I stumbled upon a photo of kianagf . I was so impressed by the brilliant idea she had. I like to see dolls on Stardoll who think out of the ordinary, like this girl who didn't spend a fortune to create an overload room. Instead she used a few common items to create a magical scene. It reminds of Alice in Wonderland, not only because of the teapot but because of the insanity and nonsense there is.

Featured Designer : Lindsay12346

Lindsay12346 is a fashion designer. I just discovered her and I was impressed by her portrait t-shirts.

At the moment she sells crop tops with Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Bob Marley and Frida Kahlo prints.

She makes two different versions, a colored one and one more like a sketch. As she states in her presentation she can make the designs in different colors according to your liking and they cost 14 stardollars.

Featured Suite : Pippa.Doll

The other day I was reading the "Amazing Stardoll Suites", a blog dedicated to suites' decor, and I stumbled upon a post about Pippa.Doll.

The moment I saw her suite I smiled. You can describe her suite as unique, creative, funny, realistic and generally amazing.

What will impress you the most is that her rooms are moving. If you scroll left or right you will see different things happening like an airplane ready to take off, a train approaching the station, a ghost appears out of nowhere. Every one of her rooms is worth seeing.

Featured Designer : FashionMonarch

I'm pretty sure most of you know FashionMonarch. Nevertheless, I still wanted to feature her in here since her designs are amazing.

FashionMonarch is mostly a wig designer. Her wigs are very detailed, with shades and highlights that make them look more real. She makes a variety of hairstyles, from short, modern bobs to vintage Hollywood hairstyles.

The prices are very good. They are exactly what you expect to pay for such well made wigs. They range from 50 to 80 stardollars approximately.
