PPQ New Collection

A new collection for PPQ was released and it is inspired by their Spring Summer 2014 "Atropa Bella-Donna" collection (see the real life versions here ). Interesting info: Atropa Belladonna or Deadly Nightshade is an intoxicating plant.

The store is missing two floors, probably a glitch, but you can find the missing clothes on the catalog. I 'll update the post once it's fixed.

PPQ accessories never fail to impress me! I loved the "Floral PPQ Headpiece" and the "Western Buckles Belt". As for the clothes I choose two pieces, the "Violet Dancer Skirt" and "Breezy White Gown" which I'm wearing below as a skirt.

Velvet Orchid New Collection

A new collection of Velvet Orchid was released yesterday. Like in the previous collections there is a lot of black, pink and purple. I'm not a fan of Velvet Orchid, and I rarely find something I like. In this collection I picked out two pieces, the "Rainbow Shinny Skirt" and the "Black Rebel Denim".
The skirt is the highlight of the collection, not only because it's iridescent, which is one of the hottest trends at the moment, but also because of it's price (starcoins!). As for the jeans, I don't usually buy denim, but these strongly remind me of the "NY Used Denim" from the Young Hollywood Street Style collection (here) which unfortunately I missed. They are rolled up, ripped and loose and I love them!

June Hot Buys

The June 2014 Hot Buys were revealed and here they are. I have to say, I don't get this collection. There are so many different styles, a spakly , puffy dress (more appropriate for Christmas Eve than for hot summer days) along with casual tees and sneakers.  Overall it doesn't scream summer to me. Hovever the presentation is quite nice! I like the body painting, graffiti and the color splashes. They make it look like a fresh and modern magazine photoshoot. My favourite is the "Hot Buys Sparkly Platforms". The "Hot  Buys Feather Ear Piece" also looks versatille, I think it can be used as a necklace as well. Do you like them? I have a pretty long wishlist, especially if you consider that I was around when all of these were released, but for some reason I never bought them. My top priority items are seen in the picture above. You can see some pieces from the early days of Stardoll, like the headscarf and some most recent like the Chanel bag. Starbazaar search is not always helpful, especially when searching for tributes, so I keep adding new things and I rarely find something to cross of my wishlist.
