Young Hollywood Street Style

Hey, I'm back on track! After a long, long absence I'm here again to keep you updated with the latest stardoll news.

So, Stardoll has just released a new Young Hollywood mini collection. There is no store, it's just another "flash" collection (anyone remembers the Lady Gaga "Applause" outfit? check here).

Unfortunately it sold out very fast. Generally the items were very nice and fashionable and the graphics were good. The prices were high as expected, ranging from 45 to 115.

For me, the top pick are the "NY used denim" , it captures the boyfriend's jeans trend perfectly, and the "NY tartan styled shirt" which is the biggest fashion trend at the moment (90's comeback :) ).

Here is an outfit I made using items from the store. 

I wear :

Chanel Spring 2012 RTW

 Like Karl Lagerfeld promised, this year's spring collection of fashion house Chanel reminded us of the magical world of the ocean. And he kept his promise, as the airy clothes were made to give us a sense of plankton that phosphoresces under the moonlight. In this collection Chanel used pastel colors and also black and white.

In my view, this collection of Chanel surprised me positively. I really love the pastel colors. They suit with all skin colors and combine easily with other clothes. The line of clothing was simple and modest, but it remained very elegant.
I would love to have some clothes from this collection. I hope Stardoll to create a shop with only the clothes of chanel one day. I think you will want it too.!

As I have promised in my previous post, I'll show you how to create this look but with less money.

The original "Retro Blue" outfit (picture above) costed me 113stardollars and 165starcoins(which equals to 129 stardollars) . That was because I used clothes from expensive brands such as PPQ and Young Hollywood!

The purpose of this post is to show you that you can have a similar result but using less expensive clothes.

Here is the "affordable" look:

Tress Up!

A new amazing store was released today! In the "Tress up" store you can find wigs with different hairstyles and very well designed.

All the wigs have highlights or they are dip dyed.

You can change the color of the wig in your beauty parlour either by using the standard colors stardoll offers or the haircolors from Doree! However you can't change the highlights.

There are two wigs you can buy with starcoins in the 2nd floor!

I love the1st,3rd and 5th!

The braided one reminds me of Katniss from the Hunger Games, one of my favourite books ,and the other two have a retro touch I love!
